1^st Marine Battalion ‘D’ – Company passing out and Insignia awarding ceremony at SLNS Vidura

‘D’ – Coy of of SLN 1st Marine Battalion was passed out and it’s Insignia awarding ceremony has been held at SLNS Vidura on 12th October 2018. ‘D’ – Coy consisted with 77 Marines including 5 Officers and 72 Sailors.

The inauguration ceremony of the Marine Battalion and insignia pinning was graced by Rear Admiral UI Sarasinha as the Chief Guest and senior officers from the try-services and a host of family members of passed out Marines officers and sailors were also present at the occasion.
